There are over 250 million Orthodox Christians worldwide.
Orthodox Christians pray in the presence of Icons, but do not pray to the image.
The Orthodox Church is ONE Church.
The Orthodox church include Greek Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Serbian Orthodox, Romanian Orthodox, Albanian Orthodox or Antiochian Orthodox. Each have their own governing bodies, but are within the ONE Church.
The Eastern Orthodox Church is not the same as the Roman Catholic Church. The division "Great Schism" took place in 1054 AD.
